Samedi soir à Annecy pour la fête du lac devant 200 000 personnes et des feux d'artifices magnifiques, AC/DC à fond....Highway to hell pour le lancement des feux présentant l'Australie.... Grandiose

AC/DC de retour en studio ? Oui, mais cette fois ci pour le tournage du clip du premier single dont la sortie est prévue le 28 août prochain ! Effectivement, le groupe se rendra à Londres en début de semaine prochaine pour filmer la vidéo du titre "Runaway Train".
Pour des raisons de trames scénaristiques plus recherchées qu'à l'accoutumée, le tournage se verra réduit en termes de figurants, donc peu ou pas de fans dans le clip, se démarquant ainsi de ses prédécesseurs.
Le clip vidéo sera disponible peu de temps après la sortie du single.
D'aprés une dépêche de l'agence Reuters, AC/DC s'engagera sur une tournée de dix-huit mois dès cet automne, c'est ce qu'annonce Rob Light, PDG de Creative Artists Agency, une société qui représente les intérêts de nombreuses personnalités du show-business. Annonce faite lors de la dernière conférence de l'International Association of Assembly Managers.
Certains même avancent déjà la date d'Halloween pour le premier concert de la tournée ! Concert qui devrait avoir lieu soit à New York ou dans sa périphérie, soit à Chicago |

Just back in from the video shoot.....very surreal experience.
Okay, so four coach loads of us were picked up outside Victoria Station and deposited at a film studio (which just looked like a big warehouse) somewhere in North London around Wembley / Uxbridge way. Lots of waiting around and then we were taken into the main studio where the stage was set up....
Stage has this industrial look and feel to it, lots of big cogs and pistons, kind of like Queen's 'The Works' Tour stage. We get a listen of the song and a practice of the chorus. The song is really good, it's very catchy and very AC/DC - you hear it once and you feel like you've always known it. The working title of it is 'Rock n Roll train' and they're expecting to release the single next month. It reminds me a lot of Highway to Hell. Starts of with a similar backbeat and tempo on the drums, then guitar, vocal, guitar, vocal, bit of a crescendo leading up to a catchy sing along chorus...which I've now forgotten...ahm something about train coming off the tracks.
After we've had a listen the band come out and it's the first time I've seem them close up....they're fucking midgets, they make Dio look like a basketball player. The song and video is very much AC/DC by numbers, there's no surprises...Brian with the flat cap, Angus with the schoolboy outfit, hat and moves, and Phil Rudd being a complete miserable bastard. We did about 8 different takes with lots of waiting around and lots ot moving of cameras. It was really hot in there with the lights and pyrotechnics and everyone was jumping aroudn waving fists in the air etc. I stayed towards the back (crowd was 6 deep) as I've no real desire to be in the actual video itself. It was amazing to be so close to them. The only one who did any talking was Brian and he was very chirpy and pleasant. He said something about there being 14 or 15 songs on the new album.
Lasted a couple of hours and we were sent on our way with a brown bag with sandwiches and an AC/DC T-Shirt. I still can't believe I was part of it and it's something I'll always remember... |

The band were great and took time out to sign stuff especially Brian Johnson who couldnt keep away lol!. There was quite a lot of waiting around involved but it was all worth it and because of the way we had to move around and the cameras moving around too there is a great chance everyone can be seen in the final video.
The band all looked fit and well with the possible exception of Phil Rudd but he was probably tired or sumthing lol!riff is great proper stop start kind of thing, typical AC/DC! i think chords are the usual A, D and G for the mucisians amongst you. Drumming sounds awesome really thumping sounds similar to the drum sound on the Darkness song 'one way ticket' which is pretty cool. Bryans voice is great on it, he sang some parts live whilst the rest of the band (except phil) mimed playing their instruments

Columbia Records annonce la sortie internationale du très attendu nouvel album d'AC/DC le 20 Octobre !
Le premier album du plus électrique de tous les groupes de Rock'N'Roll du monde depuis 8 ans.
15 nouvelles chansons inédites.
1er single "Rock'N'Roll Train", déboulera sur sur les ondes radios du monde entier le 28 août.
Il s'agit du premier album studio du groupe contenant uniquement des inédits depuis la sortie de Stiff Upper Lip en 2000. C'est aussi le premier album du groupe en collaboration avec Columbia Records.
Produit par Brendan O'Brien au Warehouse Studio de Vancouver, Black Ice contient 15 nouvelles compositions dont le single "Rock'N'Roll Train" qui déboulera sur les ondes radios du monde entier le 28 Août, rapidement suivi de son clip video en septembre.
